Coverfox.com is Associate Sponsor for Puneri Paltan'

Coverfox.com, India’s fastest growing online insurance portal has partnered with “Puneri Paltan”, the Pune based team of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League: Season 3 as their Associate Sponsors. The initiative by Coverfox.com is a step towards reconnecting Indian youth with Kabaddi, a contact sport which has its origin in ancient India, and giving the game it’s due credit and appreciation. The Pro Kabaddi League is giving the sport a distinctive contemporary identity and Coverfox.com through this sponsorship has extended full support to the cause.

Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League is an initiative of Mashal Sports and is based on the format of the very well-recognized T20 IPL. Bangalore based Mashal Sports offers sports management services and is co-promoted by industrialist Anand Mahindra. Pro Kabaddi League started in 2014 with Eight Franchises consisting of players from all over the world, and clocked a viewership of 435 million in its first year, which is the second largest viewership after T20 IPL of 552 million.

Kabaddi is one of the oldest outdoor games in India. Cricket, Football, Polo, Golf and other mainstream games, have overtaken Kabaddi in popularity. Kabaddi began to lose its appeal and slid into the background. The Pro-Kabaddi league is a step towards reviving the glory that the game deserves. Supporting Kabaddi in India, for Coverfox.com, is also indicative of inclusion in the mainstream, of other sports besides Cricket, which takes up maximum interest in the country. Coverfox wants to be part of this attempt to take Kabbadi, a game born in India to a global level.
