JWT witnesses senior management movements!

First in the news was Mohit Hira who's departure news has been making rounds for a while now. But senior sources close to the development have now confirmed the news that Hira makes his exit from JWT to take up an entrepreneurial role.

Hira had joined JWT in November 2012 as SVP and Regional Business Director and was given charge of JWT India’s digital operations in April 2013. He was then promoted to CEO, Hungama Digital Services in January 2014. At JWT, Hira headed one the key accounts of JWT, Airtel, while leading the company’s digital services. Prior to joining nIIT, he was with Times Internet Ltd, heading Marketing. He has also been the Brand Head for Times Foundation, Navbharat Times and The Economic Times, Delhi. He has rich experience across advertising, marketing, journalism and digital media.

On the other side, news is that after a hiatus of almost half a decade, Anuja Chauhan returns aboard JWT as a creative consultant and will be a part of the Power of One (Po1) team that the global ad agency is putting together to work on the PepsiCo account.

Senior sources close to the development confirming the news stated, “Anuja is back with JWT and will be working only on the PepsiCo account which itself includes 15 brands”.

She joined JWT India in the year 1993 and served JWT India for over 17 years as VP and ECD, before resigning in 2010. She was responsible for many memorable catchphrases, primarily for Pepsi Cola, India, such as "Yeh Dil Maange More!", "Mera Number kab Aayega","Nothing official about it" and " Oye Bubbly", etc.

She quit JWT to pursue her literary passion and has authored three books - Zoya Factor, The Battle for Bittora and The Pricey Thakur Girls - along the way.
