Sony Entertainment Television Pays Tribute to Gurus This Gurupurnima

Disciple. Dedication. Perseverance. Courage. Knowledge. These are just a few innate qualities that a Guru embodies. To salute and to offer gratitude for the contribution of Guru in an individual’s life, Sony Entertainment Television launched a unique initiative ‘#ThankYouGuru’.

Teachers are instrumental in moulding our lives and destiny. 

The determination they showcase in passing on knowledge in the field of their expertise to us is something that is rarely appreciated. With this campaign, the channel encourages viewers to acknowledge their contribution with a simple Thank You!

On the occasion of Gurupurnima, Sony Entertainment Television has launched a series of promos featuring the different protagonists and their gurus. Some of the most inspirational characters of Indian Mythology and History viz.

Hanuman, Karn and Maharana Pratap will be seen paying tribute their teachers. Additionally, the channel has also taken the celebrations on their digital platform, where the lead actors of various shows will be seen sharing interesting anecdotes about their relationship with their respective gurus. Some of the popular actors who will share their stories are Rajeev Khandelwal, Anup Soni and the entire team of CID.
