Sony TV sees a 29% jump in ratings

Star Plus came out with bright colors, with its ratings improving by 6.36% from 748197 to 795810 in week 46 (14th November 2015 to 20th November 2015). Following the suit of previous week, Zee Anmol maintained its second spot after Star Plus. Its rating number very marginally increased to 719433 from 717923 thus widening the gap between Star Plus and Zee Anmol. Colors, Zee TV and Star Utsav retained their third, fourth and fifth spot respectively while showing an improvement in numbers. Life Ok also stayed strong at sixth place similar to last week and the rating number soared from 441912 to 477905. Sony jumped from no. 9 to No. 7 while delivering a number of 388715 as against 301587 last week, thus getting a rise of as high as 29 %. Free – to – air channel Sony Pal retained its No 8 spot and Sony SAB plummeted to No. 9 position as against No 7 last week even though its numbers improved from 337535 to 357130. Rishtey stood at No. 10 as last week.

Top 5 Programs in Hindi GEC

Star Plus Saath Nibhana Saathiya continued at No. 1 with surge in ratings while the same was with the case of Kumkum Bhagya. Though Star Plus’s another hit show Yeh Hain Mohabbatein retained No. 3 spot, its ratings fell from 13526 to 13227. At no. 4, Zee Anmol Ek se Bhale Do was replaced by Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka. With this, Jodha Akbar stayed at No. 5 though its rating plunged a bit.

Top Hindi Movie Channels

Sony Max stayed strong at No. 1 with drop in its viewership numbers and Star Gold swapped places with Zee Cinema thus making Zee Cinema at No. 2 and Star Gold at No. 3. Movies Ok also stayed at No. 4 while &pictures replaced UTV movies at No. 5
