Starcom bags $200 Mn Global Media Duties of Visa
As per the sources results of the Visa media pitch that was held in the month of April have been announced. Starcom is said to be the new media AOR for $200 million global account. Omicom’s OMD was the incumbent agency which was also invited for the pitch.
Besides Visa, Starcom’s parent company Publicis Groupe has also pitched for Citi, review for which is in progress. Finance giant with an account size of $450 million has made it clear that it does not want a media AoR which handles another credit card account except MasterCard.
By providing holding company solution, Publicis Groupe would attempt to avoid clash of interest between the two giants.
