TESCO appoints Mindshare Thailand as media partner

Tesco Lotus, a leading retail business in Thailand, has awarded, the first time, its overall media planning and buying business across online and offline to Mindshare Thailand, the leading marketing and media agency network. The win has been formally announced after a competitive pitch process that included a number of international agencies.

Wanna Swuddigul, Marketing Director, Tesco Lotus said “Tesco Lotus is delighted to announce the award of our offline and online media to Mindshare. The retail world is changing, just like our customers, whom we want to reach through multi-channels. As we grow our business, we are pleased to be working alongside Mindshare, who has the leading strategic capabilities, and understands that putting our customers at the heart of what we do will deliver great results”.

Pathamawan Sathaporn, Managing Director, Mindshare said “We are delighted to receive the trust from TESCO in Thailand to handle both its online and offline media duties. With today’s world of multi-screen and multi-tasking consumers and the speed of changes in the retail business, we need to adapt to the demand of the customers and the business.  Our duty here is to support Tesco Lotus to have an on-going conversation with our customers across the agnostic media ecosystem of Paid, Owned and Earned to ensure that we stay ahead of the competitive game”. The assignment is expected to begin with immediate effect.
