TV This Week | Star, Colors fall, while Zee rises

Only a couple of weeks left for the year to end and it’s yet another fabulous week with the Hindi GEC’s. According to reports received from TAM for week 47 (November 16 – 22), Star maintains its position at number one, Colors and Zee as usual fight for the second spot.

Star Plus saw a decline in viewership from 658 million GVTs last week to 631 million GVTs this week.

Colors manages to be at number two for quite some time now it has also seen a decrease in viewership from 483 million GVTs last week to 482 million GVTs this week.

As reported by TAM, Doordarshan National was at number three with a viewership of 448 million GVTs at the end of week 47.

On the fourth spot is Zee TV which surprisingly saw an increase unlike Star and Colors. Zee saw an increase from 419 million GVTs to 433 million GVTs.

At number five is Life Ok which also saw an increase in viewership from 313 million GVTs last week to 326 million GVTs this week.

At the sixth spot is Sab which saw a decline from 296 million GVTs last week to 276 million GVTs this week.

Sony Entertainment Television being on the seventh spot saw an increase in viewership from 190 million GVTs last week to 276 million this week. 

While the new GEC’s still strive for viewership, Zindagi saw an increase from 29 million GVTs last week to 30 million GVTs this week and Sony Pal saw a decline from 32 million GVTs last week to 30 million GVTs this week.
