TV This Week | STAR Plus gains the most

Its about a month that this year began and its Week 4 (Jan 18-24) in the television industry. According to TAM reports, we have Star Plus which has market share of 27% this week while all other channels have seen a dip.

Star which saw a rise from 613 million GVTs last week to 659 million GVTs this week. Star's Tu Mera Hero (6.3 TVM) grows further in the 5th week, becomes the slot leader ahead of Jodha Akbar (8PM slot). On the other hand we have Star Guild Awards which did 5.2 TVM over 3 ½ hours.

At number two is Viacom18's Colors which has neither grown nor declined, it has been constant at 485 million GVTs.

At number three is Zee which saw a decline from 417 million GVTs to 408 million GVTs this week.

Followed by Zee, is Life OK at number four which saw a decline from 316 million GVTs last week to 305 GVTs this week.

At number five is Sony's SAB which also saw a decline from 318 million GVTs last week to 305 million GVTs this week.

Last but not the least, we have Sony Entertainment Television which saw a marginal rise from 235 million GVTs last week to 238 million GVTs this week.

In the premium Hindi GEC's we have Zindagi which saw a decline from 24 million GVTs to 21 million GVTs this week. Rishtey also saw a decline from 52 million GVTs to 48 million GVTs this week.
