Avinash Pant exits Meta

Avinash Pant, the former Director of Marketing, has left Meta India. Vidisha Chatterjee, the Communications Director of WhatsApp India, has also resigned from the company.

Pant informed his followers about his departure through an Instagram update, while Chatterjee shared a similar announcement on LinkedIn.

With an extensive professional background spanning over 26 years, Pant has previously held positions at renowned organizations such as Red Bull, Nike India, The Walt Disney Company, and The Coca-Cola Company.

Chatterjee, on the other hand, possesses approximately 24 years of experience and has been affiliated with companies like Colgate-Palmolive, Genesis Burson-Marsteller, and India Today, among others. Another notable individual, Jha, brings 28 years of experience to the table, having worked with BloombergQuint and Network18, among other entities.’

Meta has also executed the final phase of its three-part downsizing plan, aiming to eliminate a total of 10,000 job positions.
