Deepak Singh Appointed Head of Ipsos Marketing Business in India

Ipsos announces the appointment of Deepak Singh as Executive Director and Head of Ipsos Marketing Business in India. He will be based out of Ipsos Bengaluru office and will report to Amit Adarkar, Managing Director, Ipsos Research Pvt. Ltd.

“Ipsos InnoQuest, Ipsos MarketQuest and Ipsos UU WSBL’s under Ipsos Marketing umbrella comprise a significant part of our business. In order to drive Client satisfaction and aggressive business development amongst our Marketing WSBL Clients, we have created a new leadership role in India which Deepak will head,” said Amit Adarkar. 

Deepak will be responsible for P&L of Ipsos Marketing business in India except Ipsos Healthcare. Vidya Sen, Executive Director and Head of Ipsos InnoQuest, Shubhranshu Das, Executive Director and Head of Ipsos MarketQuest and Rinku Patnaik, Executive Director and Head of Ipsos UU will report to Deepak.

Prior to joining Ipsos India, Deepak was Officer at Kantar Japan responsible for Non-Japanese Global accounts based at Tokyo. Immediately before that he was working as Managing Director–South at TNS India, looking after South India and Sri Lanka business based out of Bangalore.

Deepak is not new to Ipsos as he has previously worked with Ipsos India as Executive Director and Country Manager based at Mumbai after an internal relocation from Ipsos Singapore in 2007. At Ipsos Singapore, Deepak was Director and Ipsos Singapore Insight Head and was responsible for Key Accounts in the Asia Pacific region. He was involved in initiating, growing and managing key accounts across the Asia Pacific region.

Earlier in his career Deepak was Associate Vice President at TNS India Delhi unit with responsibility of managing the key clients SBU. With 5 years at Kantar Japan and TNS India, 3 years at Ipsos Singapore and Ipsos India, 9 years at TNS-NFO earlier and around 2 years prior to that in market research and engineering fields, Deepak brings over 19 years of work experience.

Deepak is a MBA in Marketing from FMS, Delhi and a B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from REC Silchar. He also holds a Diploma in Market Research from MICA, Ahmedabad.
