Google turns 25 years

Today, on September 27, 2023, Google is commemorating its 25th birthday. Let's delve into the inception of Google. In the late 1990s, two doctoral students, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, first crossed paths in Stanford University's computer science programme. Their interactions revealed a shared vision: to make the World Wide Web more accessible. Working tirelessly from their dorm rooms, they crafted a prototype for a robust search engine. Eventually, they relocated their efforts to a rented garage, which served as Google's inaugural office. Google officially came into existence on September 27, 1998.

Since then, Google has undergone numerous changes, including its logo. However, its mission remains unwavering: to organise the world's information clearly, making it universally useful and accessible. Today, billions of people across the globe rely on Google to connect, search, play, work, and engage in a myriad of other activities.
