Zeelab Pharmacy partners with Green Chutney Films to put patients first

In 2019, Delhi-based Zeelab Pharmacy started out with the intention of making WHO-quality medicines affordable and accessible to all. The brand, known for its top-tier offerings, has teamed up with the esteemed video production agency, Green Chutney Films, for their latest campaign called ‘Dava Ka Do Asli Daam’.  Aligned with the company’s customer-centric commitment to be transparent in its medication pricing, the campaign was conceptualised by GCF to build awareness. This was accomplished by delivering a clear and impactful message with insightful storytelling through two ad films in the campaign.

Opening with renowned actor Randeep Hooda in a family’s house, the first film depicts a familiar scenario where households choose to save money by struggling to save over basic necessities. Hooda breaks the fourth wall addressing this behaviour, pointing out the irony of  saving on essentials and yet overspending often unnecessarily on other items. The film then showcases Zeelab Pharmacy’s mission to provide medication ‘Apne Asli Daam Pe’, urging viewers to reconsider their spending habits, particularly where healthcare expenses are concerned. Furthermore, it emphasises the significance of wisely prioritising necessary expenditure.

The campaign’s second film has Hooda humorously reflecting on the audience’s tendency to overlook discount offers, which leads to overpaying for already expensive medication. Using sardonic delivery, the actor underscores the importance of distinguishing between mere discounts and substantial savings, exemplified by Zeelab Pharmacy's significant price reductions on medicines. Here, the film aims to encourage viewers to recognise genuine opportunities for savings and prioritise affordable healthcare alternatives.

Sharing his thoughts about the campaign, Rohit Mukul, Founder, Zeelab Pharmacy, said, “Our vision at Zeelab Pharmacy is to ensure that every customer receives their medication at its true cost, sparing them unnecessary expenses. Collaborating with Randeep Hooda was a gratifying journey, largely thanks to the adept execution by the team at Green Chutney Films. Their seamless operation management elevated the significance and impact of our endeavour”.Rahul Tejwani, Founder & CEO, Green Chutney Films, added, “Teaming up with Zeelab Pharmacy was an enriching experience. Their unwavering commitment to honesty and affordability perfectly aligns with our values. We take great pride in carving out our niche by advocating for truth in our films. I’m glad we could partner with Randeep Hooda. This further deepened our mission. We’re looking forward to working with Zeelab again, and supporting causes that are meaningful to us”.

Partnering with Zeelab Pharmacy marks GCF’s foray into the retail pharmacy sector. Reflecting on the same, Manan Bhatt, Co-Founder & Creative Director, Green Chutney Films, expressed, “In an industry often driven by fear tactics and inflated prices, our campaign empowers consumers and encourages critical thinking. Recognising the prevalent discount culture, we’re determined to shift the narrative towards genuine savings. With incredible talent like Randeep Hooda by our side, we aim to inspire smarter consumer choices and promote an ethos of value-driven healthcare.”
