"Rakesh Srivastava has been instrumental in steering Nissan through challenging times and positioning the company for success," Torres acknowledged. "His leadership, resilience, and strategic acumen have been invaluable in driving our business forward." Looking ahead, Vatsa conveyed his excitement about the new role and outlined Nissan's commitment to innovation and customer-centricity. "I am honored to lead Nissan Motor India at this pivotal juncture," Vatsa commented. "We are poised to build on our legacy of excellence, leveraging our global brand stature and cutting-edge technology to deliver unparalleled value to our customers."

Nissan Motor India remains steadfast in its commitment to the Indian market, with plans to invest Rs 5300 crore ($600 million) as part of the Alliance and introduce a compelling new product portfolio aligned with its transformation plan in 2023. With Vatsa at the helm, the company is poised to embark on an exciting journey of innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction.
