Zikr Productions completes 5 years with getting nominated for the Top 10 Most Promising Media and Entertainment brands by Silicon India. It also announced the release of its Short Story ‘Red Thai Curry’ under #storiesforchange on a bigger platform of Pocket Films. "While the intent of Zikr #storiesforchange is to tell stories about higher values that trigger a change, RTC talks about our connection with the universe", says Shoneeka, writer-producer-director at Zikr Productions. Shoneeka spent 18years with leading ad agencies of Delhi till she launched her own Production House. She has directed 2 web series and many short digital films for various brands (Unilever, TVS, Mamagoto etc) in past 5 years both in India and Nepal. (shoneeka.com)

Inspired by her own move to Kathmandu, the homesickness

that came along and her love for Red Thai Curry at Mamagoto, Shoneeka conveys beautifully that ‘when we choose us, the universe chooses us’.

In this 7 and half minute film, we will find main lead Ankita Joshi craving for 'Red Thai Curry' that is made in her hometown. She is working abroad and feeling homesick so she decides to fly back home to meet her mom (played by Reena Chand) and to fulfil her heart’s desire.

Homesickness is a universal emotion and through this film we are reminded of this emotion which we all have felt at some point in time. “Connection with food is very deep. We always remember some tastes for life. We are happy to collaborate with Zikr Productions on this interesting Storytelling. High time brands speak stories that initiate a deeper change.”, says Tulsi Soni, Marketing at Mamagoto.

Red Thai Curry is garnished with a soulful track sung by Anuj Pradhan, Shreya Lohumi & Subheksha Rai Koirala.
